Recruiting participants to be part of the FoodEducators Teachers’ Board

EIT FoodEducators is establishing an educational advisory board to support its work in creating a centre point for capacity building and educational material development designed for teachers, and evaluated by teachers.

We are looking for engaged teachers who are willing to contribute to our ongoing efforts to develop rigorous and high level educational materials in multiple languages across Europe.

This EIT Food selection process has the objective of recruiting participants to be part of the FoodEducators Teachers’ Board.

What will the Teachers’ Board do?

  • Add input on how to align existing FoodEducators materials with national curriculum.
  • Peer review existing and newly developed lesson plans.
  • Pilot relevant lesson plans.
  • Help decide on new materials to develop.

What are we looking for?

  • Active educators (in all grade levels) with at least 3 years of experience in K-12 teaching based in Horizon countries and affiliates.
  • Proficiency in English - interaction within the board will be in English.
  • Motivation to be part of and contribute to a vibrant educational community.
  • Time commitment - an average of 2 hours weekly and participation in an annual 2 days study trip.

Successful applicants will be notified in December.

We are looking to build a diverse group and will take into consideration a balance in country/gender/ age/seniority and field of expertise within the final selected team.
