Collaboration between Eroski and Jakion
PRODUCT MARKETED
EIT Food's Straight2Market programme supported the launch of a innovative vegan Bolognese sauce developed by Jakion, now available in over 50 Eroski stores and online.
Eroski played a key role in introducing the product, made from local ingredients and free from added sugars and additives.
PRODUCT TEST BY CONSUMERS
The collaboration between Eroski and Jakion began in October 2022 with a consumer co-creation workshop, and by summer 2023, the sauce was ready for market.
Straight2Market continues to foster partnerships between startups and retailers to accelerate the launch of innovative food products.
